So with Winter well and truly gone and an official welcome to Spring we are too excited to embrace the maxi dress. Although we braved it through winter, there's nothing the inner hippie in us enjoys more than a nod to the 1970's and a bit of sun!
We've seen seventies all over the runways this season, but why not, for real inspiration look to the designers that got there first.
Such as Ossie Clark, an amazing designer who hit his peak in the late 60's early 70's, dressing everyone from Twiggy to Mick Jagger.

Of course although the suns out, it's still not warm enough to brave getting those pastie limbs out just yet. Style this look in true hippie fashion and go for lots of layers, mixing a lot of sheer fabrics so that you look like you've just floated into 2011 straigh from the 70's. Add a pair of round sunglasses and a floppy hat if you want to truly commit to this trend.
